The vision of Flourish Children’s School is to provide accessible world-class, whole child Christian education to families in the Tamarindo area of Costa Rica. FCS is committed to financially partnering with qualifying Costa Rican families by providing tuition scholarships. This program ensures alignment with the founders commitment to be community focused, making Flourish multicultural and a true representation of where we live.
This program allows us to offer 25% of our students an enriching private Christian education which they would otherwise not be able to afford. To date the school has granted over $70,000 in financial assistance.
Current Needs
We're seeking individuals, churches, and organizations willing to support a scholarship student through a monthly sponsorship of $500 or one-time donations to our fund. We partner with Assisting International Missionaries a US 501(c)3 Non Profit Organization for tax deductible giving. Flourish warmly welcomes contributions of any size.
Flourish scholarships are awarded annually to families based on need as well as the opportunity to include underrepresented populations in the FCS community. This is a renewable scholarship that is distributed on an annual basis.
Note: Scholarship applications for the 2024-2025 school year are due in March for current families and May for new families. Tuition assistance and scholarship requests will require families to submit financial information and proof of income in the online application.
